The moodboard captures the essense and emotion attached to death. Each visual element was chosen to build on the narrative of the story.Each scene is symbolic: the old man not ready to take the journey, the road that splits between death and lush life, the old crossed hands reflecting the length of time of their union and the old lady looking out a window reflecting.

Storyboarding is critical to developing a montage. A montage is a collation of shots to depict a story. The storyboard provides a visual of the montage prior to collating the images/videos/graphics and sound.  

A Mindmap is a tool used to visualise and organise ideas. For this montage the title of the song was the centre of the image. How we ignite our senses when we think of "Borderline". What do we see, feel, hear?
